I feel like Kody could write another book, I would have liked to see things resolved with Whitley's mother. I don't like this sort of people.
I'm not quite sure about the legality of the situation, but I don't know if you're exactly allowed to date your step-brother, even though you aren't technically related. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 19, 2016, I loved this book so much it's so engaging I would recommend that everybody reads this book. Also, the sexual assault scenes, which affected both Whitley and Bailey pretty badly, were also too quickly dismissed from the plotline. But then she meets her dad’s new fiancé and her two kids, one of which was Whitley’s graduation one-night stand, and she realizes that a good summer might have been too much to ask for.

I read Catcher in the Rye a very long time ago and I wasn't too impressed with it so perhaps that might explain why I didn't fall headfirst in love with A Midsummer's Nightmare. Spider Hacksaw emerses each character in a riveting, personal, yet interconnected nightmare that comes full circle in the end. Whitley had such a bad attitude and at first thought she was a spoilt little brat but then you see why she is like that. At first I was a little unsure about this book but ended up loving it just like The Duff and Shut Out by Kody Keplinger.
