I had never heard of "Keep Brazos Beautiful" before and apparently it's a non profit in Bryan.
Right across the street from the Texas A&M University Golf Course (which is kind of ripped out at present) at the intersection of George Bush Drive and Texas Avenue, someone has made it beautiful like should have been done before. The Can Do Recycling Award is given to individuals or organizations whose efforts in waste minimization and recycling stand above the rest. Kudos to them for however they took over this piece of extremely visible public property at an intersection named after the State of Texas and President Bush, and turning it into a thing of beauty. Featuring educational booths, environmental demonstrations, a kid’s zone, and free snacks/refreshments.
