What’s an idea from the book that you will remember? There are many ways to make a message ‘subliminal’. Peirce asked the proprietor to describe the man who’d pawned it. Your conscious mind--because it's the only part that speaks to you--is taking credit for a lot of the real work done in the much deeper parts of the brain. And when Peirce and Jastrow repeated the experiment in other contexts, such as judging surfaces that differed slightly in brightness, they obtained a comparable result—they could often correctly guess the answer even though they did not have conscious access to the information that would allow them to come to that conclusion.

This book is full of cogent stories in my estimate that keep you perusing on and on to finish the end of the chapter.

Knowledge is power. Not amazing but definitely worth a read. I’m having a hard time putting my thoughts about this book into words but I felt this book was so eye-opening that I needed to post a review anyway.
